Welcome to my lovely new website, and to this blog of mine! There’s lots to peruse, with my work from a while back to what’s being created in my studio today. All of it as joyful and colour-infused as I can make it. And to have a blog at my fingertips once again is a treat, as I’m a very curious artist who loves to share what I’ve discovered.
Here’s a work-in-progress shot of my busy studio, with my Mid-Century Modern Xmas collage percolating away on my desk. Every last scrap of it is handmade, and all made from paper. I’ve made a time-lapse video to accompany this delightful collage as it’s being made, which I’ll share very soon, and shows how I set about making each and every element of the collage with paper, scissors, and lots of coffee. Hours and hours, and weeks and weeks of work go into creating such a handmade creation, as I slowly build up all the ingredients I need (and then some), before I start to assemble the final collage.
