An original 3D paper collage using the colour turmeric and mid-century design inspiration. The title comes from the Dave Pike song ‘South Seas’ from his 1964 album ‘Manhattan Latin’.
This little maquette was created on a cardboard base, with an acid-free white background and raised paper elements (cut paint chips), all measuring 6.5” x 6”. This will be mounted on an acid-free illustration board measuring 9”x9”, with the artist’s signature just below the mounted collage.
A suggestion for framing would be the IKEA ‘Hovsta’ frame (item 803-657.55), measuring 9”x9”, with its adjustable depth to accommodate this 3D collage.
