An original, 3D paper collage using the colour turmeric and mid-century design inspiration. The title comes from the Ahmad Jamal song ‘Poinciana’, from his 1958 album ‘Live at Pershing Lounge’.
This little maquette was created on a cardboard base, with an acid-free white background and raised paper elements (cut paint chips), all measuring 7” x 5 1/4”. This will be mounted on an acid-free illustration board measuring 9”x9”.
